The Vintage Faema E61 espresso machine never had a lot of electronic components present. A pressure switch, microswitch and a pump motor. The more modern Faema E61 legend espresso machine has a bit more electronics then the Vintage Faema E61. The “updated” version has electronics like a autofill system. So that you won’t have to fill the boiler manually.

A thermostat installed which is installed inside the heating element to prevent burning true the element. In the case that the autofill system malfunctions.
