At the moment that the La Pavoni Stradivari ST was introduced, also the SP version was introduced. The SP version is the La Pavoni Stradivari Professional.
This model is technically identical to it’s counterpart. The La Pavoni Professional. In comparison to the ST version the boiler is bigger and the heating element has a higher wattage. All the differences between the Professional and ST is solely easthetical. Item like the base and grid, steam tab and pipe and the brewing group are different.

The brewing group used on the La Pavoni Stradivari professional is identical to the Post millenium groups used on the Europiccola and Professional. The difference is only esthetical. These reassemble technically the Professional a lot, but the entire base has a completely different shape then the LP Professional as well for the drip tray. But items like the heating element, boiler rings, boiler gaskets, thermostat and pressure switch are identical to the Professional
