Every brewing group uses a portafilter gasket. In this case it is a 73x57x9mm gasket. In this case they are made from a food grade nitrile butadiene rubber(Nbr)
The OD and ID of 73x57mm is quite a standard size. You will see this size with brands like Expobar, Vibiemme (VBM), La Scala, Bezzera, Faema and Azkoyen. This doesn’t mean that these brands don’t have brewing groups which use a different size of portafilter gasket.
In the case that your portafilter seals off too far, but it seals, you can try a 0,5 or a 0,8mm paper filler above the portafilter gasket.
If you are not entirely sure if the 73x57x9mm is suitable for your brewing group, please send us a message and we might be able to help you with this.

When you replace gaskets in your espresso machine it might be handy that you use some kind of lubricant to lubricate your o rings or rubber like gaskets. But you don’t replace gaskets that often, then the need for a big tube of silicone grease is not a necessity. In this case we have a small, closable, tube of silicone grease. This tube contains 6 grams...

Is the lever fork on your Faema Lever group worm out, this is the solution for it. When you have a aluminium lever fork or brass one where there is slack on the lever pint, it is time to replace it. The item on this page is a brass casted and chrome plated lever fork for the Faema lever brewing groups, of course not for all models. You can use this model...
All the Faema Lever brewing groups use ball bearings to function properly, they are not all the same btw. The ball bearing set on this page is suitable for the Faema President, Faema Urania, Faema Lambro, Faema Mercurio (with the zodiac type group) and the Faema Zodiac group type. The Faema Marte and first series of the Faema Mercurio use a different...
A lever brewing group uses slightly different parts then a normal pump driven espresso machine. This is the same story for the shower screens used. This shower screen made by the Italian company IMS Filtri is a example of this. This shower screen clamps around the sleeve of the brewing group to keep it into place. The outer diameter of this shower screen...
Also with the Faema Zodiac groups it is possible that your piston shaft needs replacing, if for instance your lever pin has worn out the attachment hole and there is play on it. Keep in mind that not all piston shafts are interchangeable due to the length of these shafts. This specific shaft has a length of 183mm, this does also include the threads. The...
Basically, every lever espresso machine brewing group has a piston shaft and a lever fork, might look different but the idea is the same. These 2 items need to be connected to each other, so that the force can be transferred. That’s why you have a piston shaft pin. This pin is knurled on 1 side. When you install the pin, this knurling will tighten itself...
