To start the motor there needs to be used a start capacitor, this capacitor is 6 µf and is located in the junction box on top of the motor. This motor has also been fitted with a bottom mounting plate. This specific model is a clamp ring motor. That means that the pump will be attached to the motor with a stainless steel clamp ring.
