Restored Faema E61 single group

There we have a fully restored Faema E61 single group vintage espresso machine. 

The process always starts with stripping down. to the point that there are a ton of body, frame and brewing group parts. Then the frame will be sand blasted and coated with a 2 layer powdercoating. This is also done for the black trim pieces.
Then the original chrome plated body parts are send off for new chrome plating. This means, de-chrome plating, grinding, polishing, nickle plating and finally chrome plating.
In this case the plexiglass on the top has been replaced with a new replica. This is the same for the glass and sticker on the back side of the machine.

The single brewing group has been completely rebuild. With new gaskets and valve parts, this means that it will also function as a new brewing group. The inlet, opv and no return valves have been cleaned and the internals have all been replaced
The steam and water valves have been replaced with new ones, which are identical to the old ones.

This model has instead of a copper boiler a stanless steel boiler, but with copper tubing in the machine. The boiler and pipes have been descaled and cleaned. And the boiler has been fitted with a new heating element and pressure valve. This boiler type doesn't have a boiler flange so it only needs a heating element gasket.

Besides the hydraulic components which have been changed, all the electrics on the machine have been changed as well. So there is new HT wiring, new main power cable, microswitch, heating element and a new pressure switch. And next to this also a new external RPM motor with fluid o tech pump.

The machine comes with a single and a double portafitler, with matching filterbaskets. For connecting the machine to the water main and pump there will be supplied 2 stainless steel water hoses. And for draining one reinforced plastic drainhose
