The Brugnetti company was founded in 1947 in Novate Milanese, Milan. The company is after 3 generations still owned by the Brugnetti family.
In 1947 the company “Officine Brugnetti” was founded. The Aurora part of the name was used for a variety of appliances like commercial espresso machines, ice crushers and mixers. In this period they started to build lever espresso machines, initially with a vertical boiler. But after that period they started to use horizontal boilers.
Before the 60ies the main espresso machine was a lever espresso machine, but in that period they started to adapt the pump driven system. Which was founded by faema in the early 60ies. But they remained to produce lever espresso machines for a long time.
